With this Plate the upper Carburettor Flange can be reinforced fur Turbocharged Applications, already bent Flanges can be repaired.
Modify or repair, get full Pressure and avoid to get the upper flange damaged any more.
Suitable for May and Ford Systems with Solex EEIT-Carbs with 32/35/38mm
Included is a Aramide based Gasket, which seals the Plenum to the Reinforcement Plate.
For Installation onto an already bent Flange you will additional need an Epoxy 2-Component Material, also known as "liquid Steel". You can buy it at a local Store at yours.
This Kit matches the later Carb Versions from 1979, with NO oval bar inside the gasket surface. See Photos for Illustration.
These later Carbs can also be identified:
1979-1981: A Brass Idle Adjustment Screw at the left side, and only one Mixture Screws directly beside this, NO Mixture Screws at the bottom of the carb.
1981 and later: A Plastic Idle Ajustment Wheel at the Throttle Lever, 2 Mixture Srews at each Side in the Bottom.
This Plate especially and only fits these newer Carbs, and stabilizes the weaker upper Flange of these late Carbs as much as possible.
