Version for the first EEIT-Generation up to 1979 !
With this Plate the upper Carburettor Flange can be reinforced fur Turbocharged Applications, already bent Flanges can be repaired.
Modify or repair, get full Pressure and avoid to get the upper flange damaged any more.
Suitable for May and Ford Systems with Solex EEIT-Carbs.
Included is a Aramide based Gasket, which seals the Plenum to the Reinforcement Plate.
For Installation onto an already bent Flange you will additional need an Epoxy 2-Component Material, also known as "liquid Steel". You can get this also from us, or buy it at a local Store at yours.
This Kit matches the first Carb Versions up to 1979, with an oval bar inside the gasket surface. See Photos for Illustration, esppecially Photo 4 for the yellow marked oval bar.
These first Carbs can also be identified by the Brass Idle Adjustment Screw and at all 3 Mixture -Screws (2 at each side at the bottom, one at the rear side in the middle, underneath the upper Flange.
Although this Plate fits also the newer Carbs, we recommend with the Carbs from 1980 the Usage of the specific Reinforcement for those Carbs (as long as available). As the newer Carbs show a weaker upper Flange, the special Plate for these Carbs will do this better.
